Pontiq

Skills-based hiring at scale

About Pontiq

Pontiq is building the missing bridge between education and employability.

As hiring becomes increasingly skills-based, graduates are expected to navigate a complex job market without clear signals, shared language, or visibility into what employers actually value. Pontiq exists to change that. We help graduates and early-career professionals understand their skills, identify gaps, and translate their potential into real opportunities — while enabling universities and employers to engage talent in more meaningful, data-driven ways.

We believe employability should not depend on privilege, guesswork, or access to insider networks. It should be transparent, evidence-based, and human-centred.

Pontiq is built by founders who combine deep experience across technology, organisational systems, and impact-driven scale — united by a shared belief that the future of work must work better for people.

The Founders

Dipti Cheerath

Dipti brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of organisational design, workforce transformation, and human behaviour. Her background spans management consulting, change leadership, and capability design across complex, high-stakes environments.

Throughout her career, Dipti has focused on translating insight into action — helping individuals and institutions adapt to ambiguity, technological change, and shifting workforce demands. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how systems, incentives, and human motivation interact.

At Pontiq, Dipti is driven by a simple but powerful idea: employability should be a capability that can be built — not a barrier that limits potential.

Dilesh Weerasuriya

Dilesh is a technologist with over 14 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale systems, particularly within higher education and enterprise environments. He is known for building technology that is robust, scalable, and deeply aligned to real user needs.

With a strong foundation in systems thinking and delivery discipline, Dilesh focuses on turning complex requirements into elegant, practical solutions. His approach to technology is pragmatic and human-centred — ensuring platforms don't just function, but genuinely enable better outcomes.

At Pontiq, Dilesh is focused on building a platform that is reliable, intuitive, and capable of evolving alongside the future of work.

Gyanesh Pandey

Gyanesh is an experienced founder and executive with a track record of building and scaling mission-driven ventures. As the former CEO and Founder of Husk Power Systems, he led large-scale operations addressing infrastructure and access challenges across emerging markets.

His experience spans strategy, execution, and growth under real-world constraints — bringing a systems-level perspective to complex problems. Gyanesh combines entrepreneurial rigour with a strong commitment to impact, understanding what it takes to move from vision to sustainable scale.

At Pontiq, he brings a strategic lens shaped by building solutions that operate at the intersection of purpose, performance, and long-term impact.

Our Belief

We believe the future of employability is:

Skills-based, not pedigree-based

Data-informed, not assumption-driven

Human-centred, not transactional

Pontiq is building the infrastructure to make that future real.
